The elements are of three different densities (290, 350, 450 m2 / m3). With the help of these, the naturally-occurring biofiltration (biofilm) process is enhanced in a small space. The microbes in the elements remove organic matter, nutrients biologically. The large surface area of the elements (equivalent to ground filtration of 12 m2) and good air circulation make it very effective to clean. We have SM 150 filter plate (100 cm x 120 cm x 4 cm) which makes it easy to infiltrate water into the soil. Biomodules are used to increase treatment capacity.
Easy to use - affordable to use
Biobox has very low operating costs, the need for filter replacement is only in 10 to 15 years and the unit does not use electricity.Filter elements are lifted and cleaned if necessary (at least once a year) by brushing or washing them. Waste from the elements is composted or delivered to waste management.
